fun BIO

Amarra designed her first home at the age of 7 for her beanie babies under a Christmas tree. Many years later, she graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Public & International Affairs and a minor in Urban Studies, still fascinated by the dynamic interplay of people (beanie and otherwise) and place (beyond seasonal holiday setups).

She threw herself into exploring this strange nexus through the professional worlds of international law and urban tech startups. Restless from corporate drudgery, she politely ditched these false callings and emerged from them resolute in returning to her roots - this time, expanding her design clientele beyond her childhood toy collection.

Further education from UCLA’s world-renowned Interior Architecture extension program was soon underway; Amarra has held student membership with the American Society of Interior Designers since 2023.
